Ryan Sallans has made it his work to visit college campuses across the country sharing his personal story about transitioning from female to male.
The Aurora, Neb. native will bring his story to 分分六合彩 on Wednesday, December 7. His talk, 鈥淔tM: Scouting the Unknown,鈥 begins at 3 p.m. in Callen Conference Center, located on the lower level of the Smith-Curtis Administration Building.
Born Kim, a female, Sallans talks candidly about his sexuality by intermixing humor with intricate clinical details surrounding his transition process, which began in 2005. He became internationally known through his two appearances on Larry King Live! and known as a mentor after he appeared in the documentary, Gender Rebel. Along with sharing his story, Sallans works as a diversity trainer and consultant, specializing in healthcare and workplace issues surrounding the LGBTQIA community.
He has bachelor degrees in English and anthropology with master鈥檚 degrees in English and educational psychology.
